Alphavita is a new brand created by the development of Sanyo and Panasonic. Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. was widely recognized as a leading supplier of laboratory equipment after its first launch in China in the 1970s in research and medicine. Following Panasonic’s acquisition of Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. in 2012, the brand was changed from Sanyo to Panasonic. In 2018, Alphavita completed its integration with Panasonic’s Biomedical Business Division and became the only company operating Panasonic’s former biomedical business in China. While we use the Panasonic brand legally and independently, we created a new brand – Alphavita – in 2019 to officially launch our life science business.
